Innovation Research Deliverables

Over the summer of 2025, I had the opportunity to work at the Innovation Lab at The City of Calgary as a Summer Student. This was an incredibly formative experience for me, as I got to explore the intersection of many of my interests. I had the opportunity to engage in visual design, information design, civic engagement research, data synthesis, meaning making, place making, service design research, and user experience, and I got to work alongside the urban planning team.

I was on a project working with the Lab and the Planning and Development Team. This was a long-term project. Due to the timeframe, I came away with many small-scale deliverables from this project. So the writing regarding this experience may not encapsulate the typical process you will see when looking at my other experiences.
