This was a 12-week project that I worked on with the Digital Experience team at ENMAX, with fellow designers Jenessa Drebnisky and Lyndsay Wasko. Over these 12 weeks, we designed and tested many dashboards, user interfaces, and accessibility features for the new digital invoice feature for ENMAX Energy. The goal of this project was to answer questions before ENMAX customers could ask them and to keep traffic on ENMAX.com and not on customer service calls. We know that any users of this website could be frustrated by their billing experience, and we wanted to ensure an all-encompassing informational and actionable invoice experience. A place to understand your energy usage, invoice information, and pay your bill with ease. To make this as pleasant of an experience as it could be, we tried to incorporate elements of surprise and delight into our design work. That manifested as images, colours, and features that anticipate people's needs.
